Hiking Dog Cottage

Welcome to the Hiking Dog Cottage located in the historic downtown area of Damascus, Virginia. We are located within walking distance to the Creeper Trail bike rentals & shuttle, restaurants, services, shops and many local trailheads, including the Appalachian Trail, the Daniel Boone Trail, Creeper hiking trail and the Trans Continental Bike Trail. Directly k off of our main street (Laurel Avenue) which makes us a very quiet cottage.  VA behind the cottage is the Laurel Creek, just one of the many stocked fishing creeks in our area. We are located one block to the main street and it's local merchants.   The cottage is only about 20-miles to Abingdon and 40-miles from the NASCAR Bristol Motor Speedway.
